LAPD Crown Vic Rear-Ended By DUI Driver | Sun Valley

03.25.2021 | 8:10 PM | SUN VALLEY – Two LAPD officers were injured after a vehicle slammed into their patrol car in the 7800 block of N Vineland Ave Thursday evening.

Officers responded to a reported help call after the Foothill officers reported being struck by a sedan at high speeds while parked.

It appears a total of four vehicles were involved in the crash. It is unclear how many other people were injured during the incident.

One male adult was placed under arrest, possibly under the suspicion of DUI.

A quarter mile stretch of Vineland was blocked from Stagg Street & Strathern Street as officer investigated.
