Lancaster: Man Found Dead Outside Car, Investigation Underway

08.17.2020 | 8:20 PM | LANCASTER – A man was found dead by his car prompting an investigation, Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a man down near a vehicle at the intersection of Avenue J-4 and Cedar Avenue around 8:20 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male down next to his vehicle with the passenger door open.

The man was pronounced deceased on scene but the cause of his death was not immediately known.

Family members gathered at the scene and were being supported by neighbors as they mourned their loss.

An investigation is ongoing.
