Lake Elsinore: Deputies Fatally Wound Armed Man

11.16.2019 | 5:20 PM | LAKE ELSINORE – A reportedly armed man was dead after a shooting involving deputies, Saturday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a man brandishing a weapon in the 3000 block of Ash Street around 5:20 PM.

Deputies arriving on scene made contact with a male individual who was reportedly armed with a weapon.

The deputies instructed the man to drop the weapon however he reportedly refused and an deputy-involved shooting occurred.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the male victim deceased on scene.

Additional information regarding the shooting was not immediately available.
