Lake Balboa: Wind-Fueled Brush Fire Burns Four Acres

06.08.2020 | 2:02 AM | LOS ANGELES – A wind-fueled brush fire burned about four acres, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vegetation fire burning at the Lake Balboa Golf Course located in the 6000 block of Woodley Avenue in the Lake Balboa area around 2:02 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located the fire burning in heavy vegetation and attacked the blaze from the air and ground.

By about 5:00 AM the bulk of the blaze had been extinguished after burning approximately four acres of brush.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
