Lake Balboa: Pursuit Ends With Crash Into Front Yard Of Home

12.02.2019 | 1:35 AM | LOS ANGELES – A suspected DUI driver was taken into custody after fleeing police and crashing into the front yard of a home, early Monday morning.

Officers attempted to stop a suspected DUI driver in a BMW coupe the Lake Balboa area around 1:35 AM.

The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and fled from officers driving recklessly through a residential area before crashing into the front yard of a home.

The suspect attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. A weapon was also recovered near the suspect’s vehicle.

Firefighters responded to the scene to evaluate damage to a carport.

No injuries were reported.
