LAFD Battle Greater-Alarm Structure Fire | Boyle Heights

09.27.2021 | 11:39 PM | BOYLE HEIGHTS – LAFD responded to a reported structure fire at 1601 E 1st St.

Firefighters arrived to find a large one story commercial with smoke and fire showing.

Firefighters attempted to go inside but were forced out by conditions inside.

Shortly after heavy fire came through the roof and firefighters went into a defensive mode attacking the fire from outside.

At this time firefighters are still working on getting a knock down.
