La Puente: Double Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another Hospitalized

06.30.2019 | 6:30 PM | LA PUENTE – One person was dead and another was hospitalized after a deadly double shooting, Sunday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Tonograph Avenue and Beckner Street around 6:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located tow victims both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced one victim deceased on scene and transported the other to USC Medical Center in unknown condition.

A crime scene was established as homicide investigators responded to the scene to investigate.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.
