La Mirada: Fire Threatens Home After Fireworks Ignite Tree

07.04.2020 | 11:25 PM | LA MIRADA – A tree fire sent embers raining down on to a home after a firework exploded, late Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a tree fire threatening  a home near the intersection of Ashgrove Drive and Faceta Drive around 11:25 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located a tree engulfed in flames with a homeowner trying to protect his home with a garden hose.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze before embers spread to the nearby home.
