LA MIRADA Fatal Crash

DETAILS:

1. A driver was killed after wedging their pickup truck between a wall and a tree Wednesday night
2. LASD and LACoFD paramedics responded to the eastbound lanes of Leffingwell just west of LM Blvd regarding the solo vehicle crash
3. Arriving, they found one person, possibly a male, unresponsive hanging out the window of the truck
4. Firefighters quickly determined that the subject’s injuries were too severe for care, and he was ultimately declared deceased at scene
5. Deputies have cordoned off all eastbound lanes at Arroyo Drive pending a fatal traffic collision investigation
6. No word on what may have led to the deadly crash
