La Mirada: Bank Robber Quickly Apprehended

05.22.2020 | 2:50 PM | LA MIRADA – A suspect was quickly apprehended after robbing a Chase bank, Friday afternoon.

Authorities responded to reports of a robbery in progress at the Chase Bank located in the 15100 block of East Rosecrans Avenue around 2:50 PM.

Deputies arriving on scene learned that a suspect handed a teller a note demanding cash.

The teller complied and provided the suspect with cash before he fled on foot.

The suspect was quickly located near the bank and detained at gunpoint.

A backpack filled with cash was recovered.
