La Mira: Rollover Crash Shears Fire Hydrant

11.19.2018 | 9:50 PM | LA MIRADA – A rollover crash caused a mess when it sheared a fire hydrant, Monday night.

Police and fire officials responded to the 150000 block of Northam Street regarding reports of a rollover crash shortly before 10:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a solo vehicle on it’s roof that had apparently sheared a fire hydrant. A 20-foot geyser resulted from the crash, requiring the response of water officials to secure.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and was able to walk away from the crash.

Deputies were on scene investigating.
