La Mesa PD Officer Killed Assisting with a Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-20-25 10:23pm
LOCATION: EB 8/ Waring Rd
AREA/CITY: LA MESA
DETAILS:

1. At around 10:23 PM CHP received reports of a single vehicle traffic collision into a Center divider.
2. Additional calls came in of an additional crash.
3. La Mesa PD reached out to CHP because they were unable to get a hold of an officer that was pinging in that location.
4. CHP arrived on scene and located the Unconscious and unresponsive Officer and began CPR.
5. Firefighters arrived on scene and pronounced the officer deceased.
6. It is unknown at this time if anybody else was transported From the scene.
7. this is La Mesa Police Department first line of duty death
8. There is no additional information at this time.
