La Habra: Van Bursts Into Flames

02.20.2020 | 4:55 PM | LA HABRA – A mechanical issue resulted in a van bursting into flames, Thursday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire on Lambert Road just east of Beach Boulevard around 4:55 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an older model van with heavy fire showing from the engine compartment.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames but traffic in the area came to a slow as smoke and onlookers impacted traffic.

The driver of the vehicle was able to exit without injuries.
