LA HABRA Murder Suicide Inside Korean BBQ Restaurant
“La Habra, CA — October 14, 2025 — At approximately 6:43 p.m., La Habra Police
Officers responded to reports of shots fired at 1240 W. Imperial Hwy., Suite A (Gui Gui Korean BBQ). Upon arrival, officers located an adult male and an adult female with significant injuries. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced both individuals deceased at the scene. Based on preliminary information, the incident appears to be a murder–suicide. At this time, investigators have no indications of any outstanding suspects, and there is no known threat to the public.
The identities of the involved parties are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation remains active.

- Detectives are investigating circumstances after two people were found dead inside a Korean BBQ restaurant
- Firefighters were called to assist La Habra police with a reported shooting call shortly after 6:45 PM
- According to reports, a male inside the restaurant possibly shot a female before turning the gun on himself
- A large crime scene has been established around the restaurant as police interview those who where inside the restaurant
- No information has been confirmed as of now, though two blankets were brought in to cover two deceased individuals inside and individuals overheard saying they heard gunshots and ran out of the restaurant
