La Habra: Man Critically Injured After Being Found At Bottom Of Pool

01.23.2019 | 7:27 PM | LA HABRA – A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being found at the bottom of a swimming pool, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to the reported drowning at a home in the 300 block of Sandlewood Avenue around 7:27 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located a 38-year-old male who was unconscious in the bottom of a swimming pool to the rear of the home.

Firefighter paramedics pulled the man to the surface and performed CPR before transporting the man to an area hospital in full cardiac arrest.

Initial reports indicate the man was discovered by family members who immediately called 911.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
