La Habra: Driver Dead After Rear Ending Street Sweeper

12.13.2018 | 2:00 AM | LA HABRA – The driver of a pickup truck was dead after they smashed into a street sweeter, early Thursday morning.

Officials responded to the reported crash at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Idaho Street around 2:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene discovered a red Toyota pickup truck that had crashed into a street sweeper.

Firefighter paramedics evaluated the driver of the pickup truck and determined them to be deceased on scene.

The driver of the street sweeper was uninjured.

Police were on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
