K9 Deployed After Early Morning Tesla Pursuit

DETAILS:

  1. No official info available from LT
  2. At 12:01am Tuesday HPD was in pursuit of a white Tesla sedan in the vicinity of Congress St & Main St in NE Houston
  3. Pursuit progressed from Highway 59 onto I-10 and then Loop 610 ending at SSG Macario Garcia Dr between 16 Houston Harbor and Wayside Dr
  4. Two suspects, a male and female, were taken into custody at the scene
  5. Damage was seen on side of the white Tesla sedan, indicating HPD may have used a pit maneuver in order to stop the vehicle
  6. Suspects were transported via HPD vehicles not ambulances, indicating suspects were not injured
  7. No officers appeared to be injured
  8. K9 officers were on scene
