Juvenile Arrested For Attempted Murder On A Police Officer

LOCATION: 300 Block of Guinida Lane

According to Jon McClintock, Sgt/PIO with Anaheim Police Department, at 1:45 a.m. Anaheim Police Department made contact 300 block of West Guinida Lane, At that time a suspect fired multiple rounds at police.  No officers were hit and the suspect fled the scene.

Officers searched for several hours at multiple locations where search warrants were issued.  During that time, police observed a family member to the suspect leaving a location. That information, along with a description of the vehicle was broadcast county wide.  Orange County Sheriffs Department, Mission Viejo located the suspect, detained and arrested the suspect who is a juvenile, he has been charged with attempted murder of a police officer.
