Juvenile Armed Car Jacking Pursuit Termination

DETAILS:
- On May 23rd, 2025, at about 10:50 PM, San Bernardino PD and CHP were in pursuit of armed carjacking suspects.
- The pursuit came to an end when the four suspects took footbail from the vehicle near West 48th Street and Creekside Drive in San Bernardino and attempted to flee into a flood control.
- A CHP K9 was deployed and successfully helped take a suspect into custody.
- Three additional suspects were also detained.
- The suspect’s vehicle continued Westbound on 48th, unoccupied, into oncoming lanes before a CHP officer used his vehicle to stop it.
- Multiple firearms were located inside the vehicle, including an AR pistol and at least one drum magazine.
- All of the suspects were juveniles.
- It’s unclear where the vehicle was carjacked from, but the victim was uninjured.
- All juveniles were checked out by AMR and declined further treatment.
