Jurupa Valley: Firefighters Extinguish Mulch Fire

01.01.2019 | 12:50 PM | JURUPA VALLEY – Firefighters quickly extinguished a one-acre mulch fire that broke out, Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to reports of the outdoor fire near the intersection of Fleetwood Drive and Market Street around 12:50 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an approximately one-acre mulch fire and began to attack the flames.

Authorities used a helicopter, bulldozer, and ground crews to control the blaze within an hour.

No injuries were reported and cause remains under investigation.
