Jefferson Park: Firefighters Rescue Injured Women From Burning Home
12.18.2019 | 11:26 PM | LOS ANGELES – Two women were hospitalized after being rescued from a burning home by firefighters, late Wednesday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 2300 block of West 29th Place in the Jefferson Park area around 11:26 PM.
Units arriving on scene located a single-story home with heavy smoke and fire showing and began efforts to extinguish the blaze.
While battling the fire, two women were located and rescued by firefighters.
Both women were treated on scene before being transported to an area hospital in serious-to-critical condition.
No other injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
