Innocent Woman Injured After Pursuit Suspect Crashes Into Her

A parolee suspected of leading Anaheim Police Department officers on a chase that ended with his car colliding with a Toyota Prius in Fullerton was in custody today. The chase began in Anaheim and extended into Fullerton, ending around 9 p.m. Thursday at Bastanchury Road and State College Boulevard, Anaheim PoliceDepartment Sgt. Matt Sutter told City News Service. The suspect ran away from the crash scene and was quickly captured by pursuing officers after a struggle and was taken into custody, Sutter said. The woman in the Prius was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange in an unknown condition. An officer who was involved in the struggle with the suspect was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.The suspect’s name was not released. He was on parole for robbery, Sutter said
