Innocent Victim Trapped In Car After Pursuit Crash

DETAILS:
- Just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night, units from the Orange County Fire Authority responded to a traffic collision involving a stolen vehicle pursuit suspect.
- While Orange County Sheriffs Deputies were in pursuit of the suspect, he drove into an intersection, colliding with a second vehicle, causing major damage.
- The driver of the second vehicle, the victim required extrication.
- It took approximately 15 minutes to cut the victim from the wreckage.
- Both the victim and the suspect were transported to UCI trauma center suffering from unknown injuries.
- The cause of the crash is unknown at this time, but is being investigated by the O.C.S.D.
- The intersection will remain closed while police investigate.
