- An innocent bystander was among five people injured, one fatally, in what many bystanders are describing as a pursuit crash.
- Orange County Firefighters responded to the intersection shortly before 11:45 AM regarding a two-car collision.
- Firefighters arrived to find two people trapped in a rolled-over vehicle. According to bystanders off camera, Buena Park Police were involved in a high-speed pursuit with this vehicle.
- The suspect vehicle collided with a white Mercedes Benz in the intersection, which was occupied by two other people who were able to self-extricate from the vehicle.
- One bystander on a bike was also struck in the collision.
- OCFA firefighters extricated the two trapped patients from the rollover, where one was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second occupant was transported to a trauma center in unknown condition.
- The bystander and two innocent motorists from the white Mercedes were also taken to area trauma centers in unknown conditions.
- The entire intersection is closed until further notice.
- Buena Park detectives could be seen arriving on the scene to assist in the investigation.
