Inglewood: Police Search For Suspects Who Opened Fire On Police During Pursuit

07.03.2019 | 11:00 PM | INGLEWOOD – Police are searching for suspects who opened fire on officers during a pursuit, late Wednesday night.

Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Compton Station initiated pursuit of vehicle for unknown reasons shortly before midnight.

While fleeing the suspects opened fire on ground officers and a police helicopter causing at least one deputy to suffer a minor injury.

The pursuit eventually ended when the suspects ditched the vehicle and fled on foot into an apartment complex near Manchester and 120th in Inglewood.

A large perimeter was established while authorities continued to search for the suspects.
