On the morning of Saturday, June 21, 2025, ExxonMobil’s Main Office Building at 2800 Decker Drive was brought down in a planned implosion. The structure, which had served the company since 1971, was demolished just after 6:30 a.m. The event concluded by 7:30 a.m. with temporary road closures in place. No public viewing areas were available, and officials had advised against spectating for safety. A video of the demolition has been made available online.
