Illegal Immigrants Rescued from Cliffs | San Diego

12.04.2022 | 7:00 AM | SAN DIEGO – The U.S. Coast Guard called the SD City Lifeguards to assist in the rescue of 2 male illegal immigrants that were stuck on a rocky ledge of the cliffs near a cave. They were wearing life preservers. Lifeguards sent a Jet Ski and two Rescue boats. The men were pulled onto the Jet ski and then taken to the boats. Medics met the Lifeguards at the Lifeguard Headquarters at Quivira Basin. Both men were suffering from Hypothermia and were transported to a local hospital. The U.S. Border Patrol will then take custody of the two males. It’s not known how the men ended up where they were. No boat was found.
