Illegal Immigrants Land on Naval Base

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-29-24 10:00 am approx
LOCATION: Naval Air Station North Island
AREA/CITY: Coronado
DETAILS:

 

1. A sailboat with five illegal immigrants landed on a beach to the west of the Aircraft Carrier basin where two Aircraft Carriers are now docked at Naval Air Station North Island.
2. It’s believed that Naval Security Forces have taken the immigrants into custody and will hand them over to the U.S. Border Patrol.
3. The boat is sitting and tilting off of the beach at this time.
