Hydrant Crash Takes Out “Bob”

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-28-24 | 2:00am
LOCATION: Firestone & Old River School Rd

DETAILS:

1. Solo vehicle heading west on Firestone crashes into a fire hydrant causing the hydrant to fly… and smack into Bob’s head, and then into a wall. The fire hydrant was like a missile and almost completely decapitated Bob.
2. She also hit a power pole in the process.
3. Female driver trapped for about 30 minutes while Downey Fire used Jaws of Life to free her.
4. Victim transported to area trauma center.
5. Fire department turned water off once woman was freed.
6. Edison his at scene working on the power pole.
