Hyde Park: Hit & Run Crash Leaves Elderly Man Gravely Injured

11.01.2019 | 7:22 PM | LOS ANGELES – An elderly man was gravely injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 7400 block of Crenshaw Boulevard in the Hyde Park area around 7:22 PM.

Units arriving on scene found an approximately 70-year-old male down in the roadway after being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics performed CPR  on the man before transporting the man to an area hospital in grave condition.

The driver who struck the elderly pedestrian fled the scene without stopping.

No suspect or vehicle description was immediately available.
