Huntington Park: Woman Dead After Being Struck By Vehicle In Bizarre Hit-And-Run Crash

11.08.2019 | 10:43 PM | HUNTINGTON PARK – A woman was dead after being struck by a vehicle that fled in a bizarre incident, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Belgrade Avenue and Pacific Boulevard around 10:43 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an approximately 20-year-old female down suffering from serious injuries after being reportedly struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the woman on scene before transporting her to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The driver that struck the victim was described as a white Ford sedan and was last seen traveling northbound.

Authorities believe the driver of the vehicle knew the victim but were unsure if the driver intentionally struck her.

An extensive investigation is underway.
