According to Huntington Beach Police office, Jenifer Carey at approximately 7:20 p.m., a traffic related incident occurred involving a Huntington Beach Police Officer. One individual was transported to a local hospital. The involved officer did not sustain any injuries. The details of the incident are currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.  The civilian involved was transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries.
