Huntington Beach Motel Shooting Incident

LOCATION: 17052 Coral Cay LN. (HARBOUR PACIFIC CONDOMINIUMS)

DETAILS:

1. SOTS with residents, as well as damage from the shotgun blast from both his condo unit and a neighbor’s condo unit that was hit.

Huntington Beach Police Department received reports of shots fired in a condominium complex near Pacific Coast Highway and Coral Cay. Officers arrived on scene and determined that a resident had discharged a shotgun multiple times inside his residence, striking several neighboring units. The area was immediately contained, and officers evacuated several nearby residents out of an abundance of caution. As a safety precaution, Pacific Coast Highway was temporarily shut down in both directions during the incident. At approximately 7:50 a.m., the suspect peacefully surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. There were no injuries reported. The Huntington Beach Police Department thanks the community for its continued support and cooperation during emergency response situations. No further information will be released at this time
