Huntington Beach: Brush Fire At Bolsa Chica Wetlands

07.26.2020 | 4:00 PM | HUNTINGTON BEACH – A brush fire at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands burned over 60 acres, Sunday evening.

Authorities responded to the reported brush fire at near the intersection of Warner Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway around 4:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the wind-driven brush fire burning in dry brush in the Bolsa Chica Wetlands.

The fire scorched about 62 acres but was fully contained by 7:00 PM.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
