- The U.S. Coast Guard notified the SD City Lifeguards of an 18-foot power boat beached on Dog Beach.
- Lifeguards arrived, found the boat, and removed the life preservers and gas cans from the boat.
- 6 Life preservers were found spread out of the beach.
- Lifeguards anchored the boat to wait for a contractor to tow the boat off of the beach.
- This boat is typically used in Human Smuggling incidents of people illegally entering the United States from Mexico.
