08.28.2021 | 11:30 PM | MURRIETA – The Chaparral fire continues to burn through Saturday night. Massive flames can be seen on video as firefighters work to contain the blaze overnight. The last given update as 9:10 PM says the fire is 1,200 acres and 0% contained per @calfirerru on Twitter. Evacuations and road closures were in place while the firefighters battled the flames.
