LOCATION: 4209 Airline (Airline & Johnston)
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:
- HPD and HFD responded to reports of a major fleet
- Arriving units located a North HPD unit involved in a major 2 vehicle crash with 1 person trapped
- Both officers were transported in stable condition
- driver of the Escalade was cut from the SUV and transported to Ben Taub
- All parties expected to survive
- prelim info- 2 man unit was en route to a call for service when the SUV pulled out in front of them
- Unknown at this time who was at fault, and DWI investigation has not been completed
- Sgt was forced to provide prelim info because of another Major crash
