HPD Officer Involved in Major Crash | Houston

09.20.2022 | 8:38 PM | HOUSTON –An HPD Central officer was responding to a foot pursuit that resulted in an assist call.

The officer came to the intersection of Cavalcade & Irvington.

The officer stopped and cleared the intersection per HPD policy.

The officer proceeded through the intersection and was struck on the passenger side of his patrol car.

The patrol car flipped.

The male officer and female civilian were transported as a precaution with no complaints of pain.

Officers still cant determine who is at fault for the crash.
