Houston: Woman Shot Inside Commercial Building

11.17.2018 | 3:36 AM | HOUSTON – A woman was hospitalized after being shot through a door while inside a commercial building, early Saturday morning.

Police and fire officials responded to a shooting that had just occurred in the 7400 block of Harwin Drive shortly after 3:30 AM.

Units arrived on scene of the large commercial building and quickly discovered a door with multiple bullet holes.

Officers made entry to the building and located a female suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg.

Firefighter paramedics treated the female on scene before transporting her to an area hospital in unknown condition.

It is unclear why the woman was inside the building or what prompted the shooting.

Police were on scene investigating.
