Houston: Woman Killed In Fiery Crash

12.19.2018 | 3:00 AM | HOUSTON – A woman was killed after her car slammed into the base of a light pole and caught fire, Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a single car crash on the northbound SR-249 feeder road at Cypresswood around 3:00 AM.

Crews arriving on scene found a vehicle engulfed in flames and worked to extinguish the fire.

Once extinguished firefighters found a woman’s burnt body inside the vehicle.

Authorities were investigating the cause of the crash which may have been caused by rain slicked roads.
