Houston: Woman Found Drunk Inside SUV Blocking Lanes With Three Children Inside

11.08.2018 | 10:30 PM | HOUSTON – A woman was found passed out drunk inside her vehicle in the middle of the road with three children, Thursday night.

Police responded to reports of a vehicle blocking lanes with no lights on in the 4700 block of Airline Drive around 10:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a Lincoln Navigator with a female driver passed out behind the wheel. There small children were found in car seats in the back of the vehicle.

Officers administered field sobriety tests before placing the woman under arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

The children were uninjured and released to family members who arrived on scene.

It was not immediately confirmed whether the woman arrested was the mother of the children.
