Houston: Woman Fleeing Police Crashes, Trapping Herself Inside

12.20.2018 | 2:00 AM | HOUSTON – A woman fleeing police was trapped inside her vehicle after she crashed causing it to rollover, Thursday morning.

Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for simple traffic violations early Thursday morning in Houston.

The driver of the vehicle, a female, fled leading deputies on a short pursuit before losing control and crashing near the intersection of East 33rd and North Main around 2:00 AM.

The force of the collision caused the suspect’s vehicle to overturn, trapping her inside until firefighters arrived on scene to free her.

Paramedics quickly extricated the suspect from her vehicle before transporting her to an area hospital for treatment.

Deputies are following up to the hospital with the woman to investigate.
