Houston: Two Dead, Teenager Injured After Shootout

12.16.2018 | 10:30 PM | HOUSTON – Two people were dead and a 16-year-old bystander was hospitalized after a shootout, Sunday night.

Police responded to multiple calls reporting shots being fired along the 11900 block of Huntington Glen Drive around 10:30 PM.

Officers arriving on scene found one person dead in the street, another person dead inside vehicle, and an injures 16-year-old.

Firefighter paramedics responded and treated the teenage victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in stable condition.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the man discovered dead in the street had exited a vehicle and got into a shootout with the driver of another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was hit and quickly crashed into a brick wall.

The teenage victim was caught in the crossfire and injured while the men shot at each other.

Both men were fatally injured in the shootout.

Police are on scene investigating the shooting.
