Houston: Three Arrested, Guns Seized After Celebratory New Years Gunfire

12.31.2018 | 10:30 PM | HOUSTON – Three people were in custody and six guns were seized after officers located a group firing guns into the air in celebration of New Years, Monday night.

Officers were on patrol in the 3900 block of Kashmere when they heard multiple gunshots and then located a group of three males.

During the course of their investigation officers discovered the men had been firing into the air in celebration of the New Years.

All three men were placed into custody and a total of six guns were recovered.

Police reported that at least one of the guns was reported stolen in a burglary.
