Houston: Teenager Killed After Being Shot

11.28.2018 | 6:30 PM | HOUSTON – A 16-year-old boy was dead after a shooting incident that remains under investigation, Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of Big Bend around 6:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene discovered a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound and summoned paramedics.

Firefighter paramedics treated the boy on scene before transporting him to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives were on scene investigating the shooting incident.

No suspect description of cause for the shooting was immediately disclosed.
