Houston: Suspected Gang Shooting Leaves Man Dead

02.23.2019 | 1:30 AM | HOUSTON – Officers are investigating after a man was shot at a large party while on his way to the hospital in a private vehicle, Saturday morning.

Officers were conducting surveillance on a large party in the 8700 block of Bryam that reportedly had rival gang members in attendance.

Around 1:30 AM officers stopped a vehicle that was seen fleeing the scene of the party and discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene to the scene and pronounces the male deceased on scene.

Officers cordoned off the area while they worked to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
