Houston: Suspected DUI Driver Crashes Into Apartment Building

11.01.2018 | 4:00 AM | HOUSTON – A suspect DUI driver was in custody after crashing into an apartment building, Thursday morning.

Officials responded around 4:00 AM to an apartment building located in the 12000 block of Jones Road reference a vehicle that was crashed into a structure.

Crews arriving on scene found a blue Chevrolet sedan lodged into an apartment building. The solo driver was able to self-extricate from the vehicle and was evaluated on scene by paramedic before being placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.

One occupant was inside the apartment sleeping at the time of the crash whoever he was not injured.

Significant structural damage resulted from the crash.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
