Houston: Suspect Leads Police On High-Speed Pursuit

11.14.2019 | 2:45 AM | HOUSTON – A suspect was in police custody after leading officers on a high-speed pursuit, early Thursday morning.

Officers attempted to stop a blue Dodge pickup truck that had been reported stolen on the US 290 near Magnum around 2:45 AM.

The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and lead officers on a pursuit that reached speeds in excess of 100 MPH.

The pursuit ended when the suspect lost control and crashed into a fountain.

Law enforcement took the man into custody without incident and was transporting him to an area hospital for medical clearance.
