Houston: Stolen Vehicle Recovered After Traffic Stop At Gunpoint

11.25.2018 | 12:30 AM | HOUSTON – A stolen vehicle was recovered thanks to the watchful eye of an officer, early Sunday morning.

A Houston police officers traveling north on the I-45 spotted a vehicle he suspected to be stolen. A records check confirmed the officer’s suspicions.

Additional officers responded and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted with officers drawing the driver out at gunpoint near Riggs Street.

The driver was taken in to custody without serious incident.
