Houston: Stalled Vehicle, Tow Truck Struck By Train (Caught On Camera)
04.03.2020 | 11:34 PM | HOUSTON – A stalled vehicle and a tow truck were struck by a train in an incident that was caught on camera, late Friday night.
A police officer observed a vehicle stalled on the railroad tracks in the 13900 block of Main Street around 11:34 PM.
The officer requested a tow truck and informed dispatch to stop railroad traffic while crews worked to remove the vehicle.
The tow truck quickly responded and began working to pull the vehicle off the railroad tracks.
While recovering the vehicle a train proceeded down the tracks striking both vehicles.
The dramatic incident was recorded on cellphone video by a passerby.
No injuries were reported but the incident remains under investigation.
